I'm looking for someone to take over my great bedroom downtown between Dec. 15th and January 1st (flexible) The apartment is huge and very central. 1 minute walk to McGill and 10 minutes from Concordia. The rent is 600/month and includes hot water. Depending on usage HEATING/hydro is between 35-50$ a month (max). This apartment is amazing and I'm only leaving bc of a job offer in another city.
YOUR ROOM:
The bedroom available has two spacious closets and 2 large windows. It is fully furnished with arguably the most comfortable double sized bed in the world (its really new too, I'm sad to be leaving it behind), a desk, a shelf and a full body mirror, faux fire place with ample room to spare. Clean Linens, pillows, duvet and towels all available to use.
THE APARTMENT:
Fully equipped kitchen (plates, pots/pans/microwave etc..)and tastefully furnished living room. Pictures don’t really do it justice, please come and see for yourself. TV (no cable) and DVD player, huge bran new futon in living room. Small dining room, nice clean bathroom, great water pressure.
The entire apartment has bran new windows, kitchen counters, hard wood floors and was freshly painted recently.
Building and location are very safe and quiet. Washer/Dryer in building, security cameras, free WIFI for McGill students, great locale – close to cafes, bars, plateau, museums, beautiful historic buildings.
YOUR ROOMMATE: Very nice 22 year old Mexican girl who works and studies. Funny, nice, laid back, clean but not anal, likes to go out as well as stay in. Sociable, but respects privacy, and personal space. Not looking for new best friend but someone who is pleasant and fun but also does their own thing.
YOU : Gay/straight/bi, boy/girl doesn’t matter, respectful, responsible, considerate, clean, welcome to have friends over, cook, listen to music. Pay rent on time. Everything is fine within moderation, respect and consideration of others (drinking, parties, etc…) Spanish, French speaking welcome! Foreigners, exchange students as well!
