International company specializing in the sale of integrated retail software solutions is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for its Montreal office.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and develop system requirement specifications and design specifications.
• Convert system design and technical specifications into program code.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and correct existing program code.
• Execute unit and integration testing.
• Design, implementation and support of relational databases, operational performance, end user access, and overall integrity and recoverability of MS SQL databases.
• Provide technical support to Project Management.
• Manage the technical specification, design and deployment solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical expertise:

Essential:
• Strong skills working with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, C#
• Very good SQL knowledge using SQL 2005
• Experience using Web services, ASP.NET and Reporting Service
• Ability to learn quickly and rapidly adapt to new situations

Important:
• Experience using Web services, ASP.NET and Reporting tools
• Knowledge on SQL 2008 and Visual Studio 2008

General criteria:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years experience in .NET development environment using C#, ASP.NET
• Knowledge of the retail industry considered an asset
• Bilingual (French, English)
